Lonsdale Services Retirement Planner Awards Finalist - Outstanding Customer Care Category

Lonsdale Services is amongst four national financial planning companies selected as a finalist for the Outstanding Customer Care Award at the Retirement Planner Awards, 2017. The winner will be announced on the 16th June at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel, London.

The Retirement Planner Awards are in their fourth year and according to The Professional Adviser website the awards aim to: ‘celebrate and promote excellence in the world of retirement planning - offering well-deserved recognition to intermediaries and providers who are at the forefront of dynamic and fresh ways to offer retirement planning and pensions advice services.’

To be considered for the Outstanding Customer Care award Lonsdale Services submitted a client case study managed by Deb Nolan our independent financial adviser in Leeds / Bradford.  

Deb Nolan was aware of how the tax-free cash pension legislation changed in 2006 so she advised a member of a money purchase occupational pension scheme that they could be due a financial entitlement in the form of scheme-specific tax-free cash protection.  She explored this with the relevant pension provider, and her client was entitled to a significant tax free lump sum which saved them higher rate tax payments.  Read Deb Nolan, independent financial adviser Leeds / Bradford - Understanding your financial entitlements
